Uptown Girl With Some Cherries

I made this card to the sketch at CPS Challenge this week. Image is from Whimsy's Kenny K collection and it's called Uptown Angel. I think she's so adorable :) I colored her with ProMarkers and Prismacolors. Her hair was quite challenging to colour with proper shading, and I think I need to train that :) I kept this quite simple: no flowers, no embellishments.

Kiharoiden väritystä täytyy kyllä vielä treenata ;)  Halusin pitää kortin suht simppelinä, ihan ilman kukkia ja muita koristeluita.

Best Friends Forever

Today I gave it a try to make something vintage ... The image of swinging friends is from LOTV. Card is loaded with some acrylic paint, Stickles and Distress Ink. Corner embellies used to be golden color, but I painted them here and there with white. I just love the die I have used behind the image. It is just so pretty!

I received some super exciting news and I just had to share it with you! I was chosen to the DT of Finnish crafter's/stamper's fair Leimailutaivas this fall. And what makes this even more super is that this is in fact my first ever DT position! So I am truly waiting forward working in this team. 

Girl and Puppy

This card has been inspired by the CLP Challenge sketch this month and the Sketchy Colors Challenge with the theme: blue+beige+white. I haven't made any cards using Sarah Kay stamps in a long time so I wanted to make one today. I used the stamp Isabelle with Puppy Coco. Cute, right? Coloring is with ProMarkers. I also added some pearls and flowers which I frosted with some Stickles.

Windswept Girl in Pink

This card is made to the Marlena's sketch at The Sugar Bowl this round. I just love this antique pink tone and it really must be one of my favourite colours. This gorgeous image is from Sugar Nellie and it's called Windswept (I believe it's discontinued though...). I wish I had her hair :). Papers are distressed and covered a bit from the edges with some Distress Ink, acrylic paint & Diamond Dust. Then I added loads of flowers and some other small decorations. Image it self is colored with ProMarkers and Prismacolor pencils.

Mukavaa lauantai-iltaa kaikille. Olipas tosi kaunis päivä tänään, mutta yhden kortin sain kuitenkin tehtyä. Tämä korttini on tehty The Sugar Bowlin haasteen luonnokseen. Ihana tyttönen on Sugar Nellien kokoelmista ja nimeltään Windswept (tämä taitaa kyllä olla lopetettu tuote). Luulin ensin, että hänellä olisi balettitossut jalassa, mutta nyt tajusinkin, että kyllä nuo taitavat olla ihan korkkarit :D. Paperit on ressattu sekä niiden reunat on koristeltu Distress Inkillä, akryylimaalilla ja Diamond Dustilla. Sitten lisäilin vain kukkia ym koristeita. Värittelyt on ProMarkereilla ja Prismacoloreilla.

Bunny With a Balloon

I just love LOTV stamps and this cute bunny is definitely no exception! He is colored with ProMarkers. I have added some shine and glitz here and there with Stickles, but unfortunately it really does not show very well in the photos... These particular colors were chosen mainly because I got inspired by the color challenge at Crafter's Companion this time. The theme was to craft something using aqua and brown.

Tykkään tosi paljon LOTV:n leimasimista ja tämä pupulainen ei ole todellakaan mikään poikkeus! :) Värittelyt on jälleen ProMarkereilla. Lisäilin kimalletta sinne tänne Sticklesillä, mutta se nyt vaan ei tuntunut tallentuvan yhteenkään kuvaan kunnolla... Värimaailma tuli Crafter's Companionin tämänkertaisesta värihaasteesta, eli tällä kertaa piti käyttää aquaa (eli olisiko tämä vedensininen) ja ruskeaa. Aika kivasti muuten sopivat nuo värit toistensa kanssa yhteen, ainakin miun mielestäni!

Dinosaur In a Card

I made this card to the fantastic sketch at ICS challenge this week using color combo described at Color Throwdown challenge (navy+white+one other). This sweetest dinosaur stamp is from Paper MakeUp Stamps collection and I've colored it with my ProMarkers.

Tämä kortti on tehty ICS-haasteblogissa olevaan kivaan luonnokseen väreillä, joita piti käyttää tämän kertaisessa Color Throwdown-haasteessa (laivastonsininen+valkoinen+yksi valinnainen väri). Suloinen dinoleimasin on Paper MakeUp Stampsin valikoimista ja se on väritelty ProMarkereilla. Jätin tuohon ylänurkkaan hieman tilaa, niin siihen saa myöhemmin lisättyä vaikka synttärisankarin iän tai vaikka jonkun raflaavan onnittelulauseen :) Toimiihan se kyllä mielestäni ihan hyvin ihan tuollaisenaankin.

Round Easter Card in 3D

Here is probably my last Easter themed card for now. I wanted to make a round shaped card this time. Image is 3D and quite funny and a bit funky to me :) Turned out to be pretty simple look, too. Dots around the scalloped edge is made with Liquid Pearls.

Pastel Colors With Bo & Bea

This sweet digi stamp has Teddy Bo & Bea kissing. They're so cute, aren't they? I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and then added some Diamond Dust on the edges. This is a quite unusual color combination for me I think, but it's quite ok though.

Here is a gate-fold-card with some roses. I made this for Mothers' Day (In Finland we celebrate Mothers' Day in May). The gorgeous rose stamp is from Favourite Flowers Collection by Joanna Sheen and I've coloured it with my ProMarkers and gave it a little sparkle with Stickles.

Springtime Girl

Weekend is here again and the sun is shining. The huge masses of snow we received in the Winter is slowly melting away and there are already some first flowers of spring popped out of the ground. Yes! :D

Here is my card inspired by the Spring, of course ;) The sweet image is from Lili of The Valley and one of my favourites. I just love her! I coloured her with ProMarkers and added some glitter to her wings, 'feelers'. Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I love Roses.

Easter Basket

Today I have to show you my first Easter basket (yes, the candy is still in the basket :) I have used this lovely daffodil stamp on both sides of the basket. I coloured them with ProMarkers and cut out to fit my basket. Other side of the basket looks the same. Handle has white ribbon and a cute band of clear pearls on it. Two other sides have some die cut grass. And inside... :D You can find a good and simple tutorial for this kind of basket for example in here.

Tässäpä ensimmäinen pääsiäiskorini näytille (ja pääsiäismunat on yhä tuolla korissa... :) Nätti keväinen narsissi leimakuva pääsi korin kumpaankin kylkeen ja ne on väritetty ProMarkereilla. Päädyissä on vihreälle kartongille stanssattua ruohoa ja korin kahvassa valkeaa silkkinauhaa ja läpinäkyvää helmitarranauhaa. Tosi hyvä ohje tämän tyyppisen korin tekoon löytyy vaikkapa täältä.

Keltaista ja Vihreää Pääsiäiseksi

Mukavaa alkanutta viikkoa kaikille, toivottavasti teillä on kiva viikko edessänne :) Viikoloppu olikin aika lämmin ja sateinen, joten vähän saatiin lumikasoja pienemmäksi. Jee! Kohta on jo kevät!

Ajattelin tänään tehdä pääsiäiskortin Stamparticin haasteeseen, jossa piti pääsiäiskortissa keltaisen lisäksi käyttää vai yhtä muuta väriä. Tässäpä minun korttini. En nyt kyllä ihan ole tyytyväinen tuohon kuvan väritykseen, kun vasta ensimmäistä kertaa ehdin tätä tipukuvaa (taitaa olla Elzybellsin leimasin) värittelemään, ja treenailin samalla värittämistä pelkästään Prismacolorsien kanssa, mutta päätin kuitenkin koota siitä kortin :)

It's Monday again :) I wish that you all have a great week ahead of you. Last weekend was so warm (yeah, few degrees above the zero (C)) and rainy that we finally got rid of some snow. No, not all, but some. Yey!

Today I decided to make a card to the Stampartic Challenge. Theme was to make Easter card and use color yellow and only one other colour in your creation. I am not that happy what comes to the colouring of the image - I practised with my Prismacolors ;) ... I wanted to use it anyway in a card. If I remember correctly the image is from Elzybells.

Mother's Love

Another post for the day already, wow. I have struggled with digi stamps, because my ProMarkers tend to smudge the ink too easily. I'd love to colour them too with ProMarkers because they really are one of my favourite mediums today... Meanwhile, trying to get to the bottom of my bleeding problem with ProMarkers, I took my Prismacolors and they are just perfect with Digis :) I believe I must have been way too keen on my ProMarkers!

This super cute and warm image I totally adore is digi from Prairie Fairy and it's called A Mother's Love. I just love the mood in this image. This is also my entry to Midnight Madness Challenge. They had this cute and very simple sketch this week, that was just perfect for this image. I made the frame around the image using dies, Distress Ink and then finally covering it all over with Diamond Dust. I just had to add a little colour to the card, so I added two glitter-covered butterflies.

Jo toinen posti tänään, wau :) Tässä kortissa käytin aivan hillittömän suloista digikuvaa A Mother's Love Prairie Fairyn valikoimista. Tämä on varmasti yksi ihanimmista kuvista ikinä. Kuvasta hehkuu mielestäni niin lämmin tunnelma - juuri se äidin rakkaus :) Värittelyt on Prismacoloreilla. Osallistun tällä Midnight Madnessin haasteeseen, jossa oli mielestäni juuri tähän kuvaan sopiva simppeli luonnos. Kehystin kuvan stansseilla leikatulla kehyksellä, jota värjäilin vähän Distress Inkillä. Lopuksi kuorrutin sen vielä Diamond Dustilla. Tahdoin kuitenkin vielä jonkun väripilkun korttiin, niin laitoin vielä pari perhosta kevään kunniaksi istumaan kehykselle.

Clean and Simple

Here are two cards I made yesterday. Very simple and clean birthday cards. Maybe a bit out of the box from my usual style ;) I'd like to enter the red card to Bunny Zoes Challenge with the theme Happy Birthday with lots of pearls (hopefully three is a lot in a card this simple :).

Tässä pari simppeliä onnittelukorttia jotka tein eilen pikaisesti. Näistä kattokruunuleimoista tuli jotenkin heti mieleen, että näistä voisi koittaa tehdä vähäeleisiä, mutta juhlavia kortteja. Tässä siis tulos. Osallistun punaisella kortilla myös Bunny Zoen haasteeseen, jossa teemana oli tehdä synttärikortti käyttäen helmiä.

An Easel Card for Mum

I tried to make my second easel card. This time for the mother's day. The image is from LOTV and I colored it with ProMarkers and Prismacolors. Her skirt and the paper covering the flowers are paper pierced to match the dp on the background. I'm so annoyed that the photos tend to be so dark, although there should be enough light.... My camera is probably just getting old :) Anyhow, the card is made to the sketch at Wild Orchid Challenge.

Yritin taas tehdä easel-kortin. Ehkä ne pikku hiljaa alkaa näyttä kivoiltakin, hihhii :) Tämä on tehty Wild Orchid- haasteen luonnoksen mukaan. Värittelin LOTV:n tytsyn ProMarkereilla ja Prismacoloreilla ja hame ja kukkakimpun kääre on paperipiercattu (apua, mikä tää tekniikka on suomeksi?! Näyttää kohtuullisen hölmöltä kirjoitettuna suomenkielen taivutuksien kanssa :)

Ärsyttää, kun kamera tykkää ottaa vaan tummemman laatuisia kuvia, vaikka valoa pitäisi olla ihan tarpeeksi.. Lienee menossa hajalle ressukka.
