Leimailutaivaan haaste #1 - Embossausta

Jos nyt saisi sitten joulukortit pikkuhiljaa riittää ja voisi siirtyä enemmän muihinkin teemoihin :) Tässä nyt kuitenkin ainakin vielä yksi kortti, hieman vanhan ajan henkeä tästä ainakin vähän löytyy ja tietty sitä embossausta, joka kevään 2011 Leimailutaivaan ensimmäisessä haasteessa on teemana.

Now I think that I could start giving more time also to some other crafting than Christmas cards. Anyhow, here is a Christmas card with maybe a bit old-fashioned look, that'll take part to the first challenge of the Finnish Leimailutaivas Challenge this "spring" 2011. The theme was embossing.

Teddy in the Snow

I made this card to the sketch by Dena at Lili of the Valley Challenge. These bears form LOTV are the cutest! And this card suits quite well to the current weather all around the Europe, I believe. I colored the teddy with my ProMarkers and added a bit FlowerSoft to the hat. I distressed a little bit everything with some Distress Inks and added a little bit of Stickles, well, a bit onto everything :)

Tässäpä jälleen yksi joulukortti. Värittelin tämän LOTV:n nallukan ProMarkereilla ja kasailin Lili of the Valleyn tämän kertaisen haasteluonnoksen mukaan kortiksi. Vähän piti tunkea Distress Inkkejä ja Sticklesiä  joka paikkaan, mutta kyllä tällaiseen talviseen korttiin sopii mun mielestä aika paljon kimalletta kuitenkin :)

Something White

I just couldn't help doing something else than lie in the bed all days so I had to try crafting something. I am already feeling a lot better, so thanks for that :) Still going strongly with Christmas theme. I love this gorgeous PB tree, it's so versatile.

Joo, olihan sitä pakko tehdä vähän jotain muutakin kuin vain pötkötellä, nukkua ja katsella kattoon. Onneksi on jo paljon parempi olo! Tässä siis yksi joulukortti PB:n ihanalla puuleimasimella tehtynä. Halusin jättää tämän tosi pelkistetyksi.

Magnolia Haaste #34

Iltaa kaikki. Tänään tuli sitten se flunssa minullekin. Tosi kurjaa, kun ei millään malttaisi sairastaa.. Ajattelin nyt kuitenkin tulla laittamaan näytille korttini tämän viikon Magnolia haasteeseen kun se on tuolla odotellut vaan postausta. Haasteen aihe oli tehdä kortti luonnoksen mukaan. Vihreällä sävyllä ja joulukortilla mennään :)

Well, I got the flu then. It's just so annoying mostly because I really would not have the time to be sick right now. At least it forces to calm down a bit. I just popped by to show you my card for Finnish Magnolia challenge this week as it has only been waiting to be posted. Theme this week was a sketch and here's my creation to it. Now I just have to go and rest some more.

3D Christmas Card

Here comes another post for the day. This card is made for the 3D Challenge and the theme this time was to make a Christmas card of course with some layers in it :)

Magnolia Haaste #33 - Kynttiläkortti

 Mukavaa viikonloppua kaikille :) Tänään sain kuin sainkin todella viime tipassa osallistuttua Magnolia haasteeseen. Teemana tällä viikolla oli tehdä tasku- tai tagikortti. Alla siis tuotokseni eli 4 tuikun kynttiläkortti tagilla ja taskulla. Tagin toinen puoli on muuten samanlainen kuin etupuolikin, mutta ilman noita embossauksia ja tekstiä. Sinne voi sitten kirjoittaa omat terveiset. Oli pakko heti päästä kokeilemaan ihanan kimaltelevaa kultaista embossausjauhetta, jonka löysin perjantaina Helsingin Käden Taito- messuilta Heinikan osastolta... ;)

Magical Christmas

Here my card made with help from Cute Card Thursday Challenge sketch this week. I made a blue card for Christmas with image called Angel Wishes from Sugar Nellie. I would also like to enter this card to Passion for ProMarkers Challenge. The theme at PfP was Old & New i.e. a brand new stamp with old papers etc. The angel image is new for me, but all the other stuff I used is old from my stash. Oh, by the way, they are also having a blog hop at Passion for ProMarkers so go ahead and hop over to see all those gorgeous cards from the DTs!

P*skiksessa oli haasteena käyttää työssä enintään 4 koristetta. Alla on minun korttini haasteeseen. Tykkään tosi paljon tuosta Gillian Robertsin nallukasta Bear and robin. Tässä käytin kuivapastelleja ja H2O:ta väritykseen ja Distress Inkiä kuvan kehykseen sekä Flower Softia nallukan hatun reunukseen ja tupsuun.

On P*skarteluhaaste this week, the challenge was to use no more then 4 embellishment on your creation. Here's my entry for the challenge. Maybe sometimes less is more :) I love this Stampavie teddy stamp Bear and Robin by Gillian Roberts. I think it's so cute!

Christmas In The Forest

Good evening all. Today I made a Christmas card inspired by the sketch from this months CLP Challenge. I colored my LOTV image with ProMarkers and I think that the blue scheme is so right for this image :)

Iltaa kaikki. Tänään sain aikaiseksi tämän joulukortin, tällä kertaa CLP haasteen luonnoksen mukaan. Värittelin ProMarkereilla ja mielestäni tuohon kuvaan sopii tosi talviset paperit, joten päädyin käyttämään lumihiutale papereita. Tämä LOTV:n jouluinen kuva on kyllä aivan supersuloinen, joulupukkihiirikin ja kaikkea :)

It's Snowing

No, not outside yet, but in my card. I tried this new Penny Black image for the first time. Not completely satisfied with this one, It's a bit cold with colours (maybe it's the papers...) and the image size surprised me (yeah, like I could not see it before :). But the image is sooo gorgeous, though! Well here it is anyway without any further explanations.

Ulkona ei taida vielä sataa lunta, mutta tässä kortissa kyllä sitä satelee. Tuo Penny Blackin kuva on kyllä tosi suloinen, vaikka en ole muuten ihan täysin tyytyväinen tähän. Tuntuu olevan jotenkin kovin kylmän värinen tämä kortti, vaikka talvinenhan sen tietty kuuluukin olla. Nooh... Ensi kerralla tietää paremmin :)

Magnolia Haaste #31

Very White Reindeer

Here is a mostly white christmas card with a silver embossed reindeer. I think that this Inkadinkado image (I think it's called Rudolph)  is very pretty embossed. This is my entry to Stampavie and more- challenge#114 with the theme Christmas.

This card has been inspired by a sketch from Cute Card Thursday's Challenge # 135 (Lynn). Simple enough, but I really think that the Flower Soft makes the image look so much more fun. With this card I am also entering to Pear Tree Designs Challenge #22 - Free For All. This time you could take part with any new card.

Tämän viikon P*skiksessa oli haasteen aiheena Bingo. Valitsin rivin: Vihreä + Nauha + Nappi. Jostain syystä ei tuo inspiraatio iskenytkään niin mahtavalla voimalla ja täytyi hieman vääntää ja kääntää, jotta sai jotain aikaiseksi. Jokatapauksessa alla on oma luomukseni.
