Perhosia Pääsiäiseksi - Sinellin DT

Heipa hei! Tässä Sinellin DT kortti pääsiäisteemalla. Kortissa on taustapapereina käytetty DoCraftsin Tulip -paperikon ihania ja keväisiä papereita, joita vanhensin reunoilta hieman Distress Inkin sävyllä Tea Dye. Perhoset on stanssattu Sizzixin Tim Holtz Alterations sarjan stanssilla Easter Elements. Perhosia koristelin hieman Distress Inkin lisäksi limellä Sticklesillä ja valkoisella Sakuran Gelly Roll- kynällä. Lisäksi kortissa on pari värikästä sulkaa antamassa pääsiäistunnelmaa, sekä teksti, joka on valmiista pääsiäisaiheisesta tekstiarkista.

Britteilyä - Sinellin DT

Tässä Sinellin DT kortti brittiläisellä teemalla. Paperi, leimasimet ja nauha on Papermanian kokoelmasta Portobello Road. Tosi kiva lajitelma brittiteemaisia leimasimia tuossa setissä. Esimerkiksi kupla-leimasin ja bussi sopivat tosi hienosti myös vaikkapa isänpäivä kortteihin! Halusin tehdä tuollaisen hieman vintageteemaisen kortin, koska materiaalit jotenkin henkivät tuollaista mennyttä aikaa. Kuvat leimasin ruskealla Versafine-musteella ja väritin vähän Prismacoloreilla. Muutaman sirkan laitoin kulmiin ja pari mini-tagia roikkumaan.

Another DT card for Sinelli. A bit of a Brittish team as you can see  :) The stamp set, DP and ribbon is from Portobello Road by Papermania. The stamp set is wonderful and pretty versatile, too. Perfect also for Fathers' Day cards, I think! I also wanted to try colouring in a very soft and a bit vintage way with my Prismacolors, as I found these materials giving a bit vintage vibes.

 

Vintagea Ystävälle - Sinellin DT

Iltaa kaikille. Tässä pari DT työtä Sinellille, eli mätsäävät kortti ja tagi ystävälle. Käytin näissä aivan ihania Papermanian Urban Stamps sarjan Botanical Print kumileimasimia. Aivan ihana setti, ja niiin minun näköisiä :) Paperit ovat Docraftsin Hanoverian sarjasta. Lisäksi käytin ekokartonkia sekä kauniin marjapuuronpunaista kangasta, josta pyörittelin itse ruusuja. Tekstit ovat valmiista tekstiarkista.

Perhoset on leimattu Papermanian setistä ja leikattu ääriä myöten irti. Papereiden ja perhosten reunoja on vanhennettu Disress Inkin musteilla ja koristeltu Stickles kimalleliimalla.

Hi all. Here is two DT makes for Sinelli. One tall vintage styled card and a matching tag. Stamps are from Papermania's Urban Stamps line Botanical Print. They are so beautiful and so me (especially those lovely butterflies). DP is Docraft's serie Hannover. I also used some craft card for background and some cotton fabric to make the roses.

Butterflies are stamped, cut out and distressed with some Distress Ink. I also added some Stickles here and there to give some sparkle.

Leimailutaivaan Haaste-DT #2/2011 - Telinekortti

Taas on maanantai ja Leimailutaivaan haasteen aika. Tällä kertaa sanallisena haasteena on tehdä telinekortti. Näistä tykkään itse tosi paljon, mutta silti näitä tulee ihan häpeällisen harvoin tehtyä! Tein tällä kertaa tällaisen ihan "perinteisen" mallisen telinekortin käyttäen myös haasteen luonnospohjaa. Kuvana kortissa on superhyperihana illustraattori Marina Neiran Digikuva Marvin the Bat. Tämä oli minulle ehdottomasti sellainen aivan-pakko-saada- kuva (vaikka pakko kommentoida sen verran, että hinta on digikuvaksi mielestäni aika siinä kipukynnyksellä...). Värittelyt on ProMarkereilla ja Prismacoloreilla.

It's Monday again and the time for the new Leimailutaivas challenge. Verbal challenge this time was to make an easel card. I decided to make one in a "traditional" way. I really like easel cards and I am quite amazed that I actually make these so rarely. The supercute digi is from illustrator Marina Neira, it's called Marvin the Bat and I've colored it with ProMarkers and Prismacolors.

Leimailutaivaan Haaste-DT #1/2011 - Feikkiakvarelli

Oikein ihanaa maanantaita kaikille. Kesä on kyllä aivan ihanaa aikaa ja nyt ollaankin menossa jo siinä pisteessä, että on syksyn Leimailutaivaan haasteiden ensimmäisen haasteen aika. Haaste on tuttuun tapaan kaksiosainen: on luonnos ja sanallinen osuus. Näistä voi valita, että toteuttaako työssään joko ainoastaan toisen osion vai molemmat. Sanallisena osuutena on tällä kertaa feikkiakvarelli. Koska en ole kovinkaan tottunut paperiaskartelussa läträämään vedellä, niin otin tämän todellisena haasteena :) Alla on aikaansaannokseni ja DT työni haasteeseen.

Happy Monday to you all! I just love summertime - absolutely everything about it. We are already at the point where the first Leimailutaivas challenge is about to start! Challenge has two parts: a sketch and a verbal one. This time the verbal theme is fake aquarelle - truly a bit of a challenge for me as I am quite not that used to splash around with water, at least what comes to crafting :) Anyway, here's my DT creation for the challenge this time.

Aika simpelillä linjalla halusin tämän kortin tehdä. Halusin käyttää tähän näitä kauniita Fiskarsin perhosleimasimia. Kostuttelin ensin akvarellipaperia suihkutellen siihen hieman vettä. Pyyhin ylimääräistä vettä vähän pois paperilta ja sitten leimailin perhoset Distress Inkin Spiced Marmaladella. Lopuksi suihkuttelin leimakuvien päälle vielä vähän lisää vettä. Leimailin kuvat kahteen otteeseen ja leikelin sitten toiset kuvat ääriä myöten paperista ja liimasin toisten perhoskuvien päälle vähän ulottuvuutta antamaan.

I wanted to keep this card quite simple. I also wanted to use these gorgeous butterfly stamps from a set by Fiskars. First I moistened the aquarelle paper by spraying some water on it. I wiped off the excessive water and stamped the images onto the paper with some Spiced Marmalade colored ink from Distress Ink. Finally I took again my spraying bottle and sprayed a little bit water onto the images. I also gave a little dimension by piling two layers of butterflies.

Huge Hug From Henry

Our flat is quite warm at the moment so I am very amazed that I actually managed to craft anything :) I love summer and heat, but I would not mind if the air inside our home would be couple of degrees cooler! Well, they have promised some rain and a bit cooler weather here for the rest of the week, so it should help a bit.

Anyway, here is my card for today. I used my lovely WOJ Henry Mouse Hugging Heart stamp. I actually purchased this mini size stamp in error. I meant to buy the normal size... But when I got this, I realised that I really fancy this smaller size image ;) I'll just put the normal size stamp back on my wanna, gotta, need to have -list. Henry is colored with ProMarkers and Prismacolors. For background I used only white & recycled cardboard and I also added some lace & some red pearls. Sentiment is Finnish and translates more or less as: a hug from far away.

Meillä on ollut asunnossamme niin lämmin, että on oikeastaan ihme, että olen saanut tämänkin kortin aikaiseksi. Tykkään kesästä ja lämpimästä, mutta en ollekaan pistäisi pahitteeksi, jos sisälämpötila laskisi pari astetta ;) Näköjään on luvattu hieman viileämpää ilmaa ja vähä sadettakin. Ehkä se auttaa tähän sisälämpötilaankin!

Joka tapauksessa, tässä on tämän kertainen korttini. Käytin suloista Henry Mouse Hugging Heart leimaa WOJ:lta. Kun tämän sain, huomasin että olinkin vahingossa tilannut mini-kokoisen leimasimen normaalikokoisen sijaan! Mutta onneksi ihastuin tähän pieneenkin kovasti. Täytyypä kuitenkin varmaan lisätä se normaalikokoinen takaisin täytyy saada -listalle :) Värittelin Henryn ProMarkereilla ja Prismacoloreilla ja taustalla käytin ainoastaan kierrätyskartonkia sekä valkoista kartonkia. Lisäilin sitten vielä stanssatun aidan, kauniin punaiset puolihelmet ja pitsin pilkistämään aidan takaa. Teksti on Nea-Ideasta.

For A Baby Girl

Hello to you all! I haven't been very much of a blogger for the past month. There has been so many things happening (all positive though!) lately for example a vacation at lovely Paris. I've been quite much on the move anyway and been quite exhausted too. Therefore I think in the end of the day I've quite often preferred the sofa over many other things ;) I can blame also the weather as it has been such a warm June!

Anyway, here is my card to show you today. I've used this adorable vintage style stamp with baby strollers from Serendipity Stamps. Coloring is with ProMarkers and Prismacolors. I've added some Stickles to the ruffle on the hood and to the flower arrangements.

Hei kaikki! En ole päivitellyt blogia pitkään aikaan, mutta nyt lupaan taas pikkuhiljaa ryhdistäytyä :) Tuli matkusteltua ihanaan Pariisiin ja ympäri Etelä-Suomea sekä muutenkin touhuttua niin paljon kaikkea muuta, että iltasella teki mieli rojahtaa vain sohvalle huilaamaan. Kohta alkaakin jo kesäloma, niin kerkeää taas puuhailla vaikka mitä! Toivottavasti kauniita säitä riittää vielä sinnekkin.

Joka tapauksessa alla on korttini jolla päätän blogihiljaisuuden. Käytin suloista vintage-tyylistä vauvanratas leimaa Serendipity Stampsilta. Kuvan värittelin tyttövauvalle sopivaksi ProMarkereilla ja Prismacoloreilla. Lisäilin myös vähän Sticklesiä kärryn hupun reunassa olevaan pitsikoristeeseen ja koristekukkasiin.

So Many Flowers

Hi all, after a while. I have been ill and have not been able to craft anything! My crafting space is also very much affected by the on going renovation in our bathroom. I am sooo hoping that the bathroom will be finished this weekend so that I get my corner back :)

Anyhow, I did get something done despite losing temporarily my crafting space! I was asked to make some basic flower cards for the spring occasions. So here you go, now you get three cards in one posting! :) Colours did not really matter, but I chose to make every card in a different colour. The images are digis from Just Inklined (you can get them at La Pashe). I really like them a lot! I coloured all the images with ProMarkers and Prismacolors and finally added some Stickles to the petals. I kept these very simple and added only some rhinestones.

Hei vaan kaikki. On joutunut pitämään vähän taukoa päivittelemisessä kun on ollut kipeänä, matkustellut ja lisäksi askartelunurkkani on hautautunut ikävästi kylppärirempan jalkoihin. Toivon kovasti, että remppa tulisi jo viikonlopuksi valmiiksi!

Vähän olen kuitenkin päässyt jo puuhailemaan ja tein muutaman tilauskortin kevään tapahtumia varten. Eli nyt saattekin samassa postauksessa oikein kolme korttia kerralla :) Toiveena oli oikeastaan vain siistejä 'perus' kukkakortteja. Toivottavasti nämä ovat mieleisiä. Kuvat ovat Just Inklined digejä ja niitä saapi ainakin La Pashesta. Ne on väritelty ProMarkereilla ja Prismacoloreilla. Lopuksi laitoin vähän kimalletta terälehdille Sticklesillä. Simppelillä linjalla mentiin ja koristeluina on vain muutamia tekodimangeja.

Lady in Black and Red

Happy Sunday to all! Today I have made a black and red card using this gorgeous digi from Tickle Pink Lil Haunts range called Ghost Willow. I totally love her! She's so sweet and pretty versatile too. I colored her again with ProMarkers and Prismacolors. Then I added some Glamour Dust to her hair to make it look more magical. Roses are from WOC.

Ihanaa sunnuntaita kaikille! Tänään tein myöskin punamustan kortin. Tässä kortissa käytin Tickled Pinkin Lil Haunts kokoelman digiä nimeltään Ghost Willow. Aivan ihana mielestäni ja kovin monikäyttöinen myös! Värittelyt on ProMarkereilla ja Prismacoloreilla. Lopuksi koristelin Willown hiukset vielä Glamour Dustilla, että saisin hänelle enemmän taianomaista vaikutelmaa. Ruusut on WOC:lta.

Best Friends Forever

Today I gave it a try to make something vintage ... The image of swinging friends is from LOTV. Card is loaded with some acrylic paint, Stickles and Distress Ink. Corner embellies used to be golden color, but I painted them here and there with white. I just love the die I have used behind the image. It is just so pretty!

Round Easter Card in 3D

Here is probably my last Easter themed card for now. I wanted to make a round shaped card this time. Image is 3D and quite funny and a bit funky to me :) Turned out to be pretty simple look, too. Dots around the scalloped edge is made with Liquid Pearls.

Pastel Colors With Bo & Bea

This sweet digi stamp has Teddy Bo & Bea kissing. They're so cute, aren't they? I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and then added some Diamond Dust on the edges. This is a quite unusual color combination for me I think, but it's quite ok though.

Tässä ihanassa digileimassa Bo & Bea nallet pussailevat. Ovat aikas söpöjä, vai? Värittelin kuvan Prismacoloreilla ja lopuksi vielä lisäilin reunoille vähän Diamond Dustia. Aika outo väriyhditelmä minun tekemäkseni, mutta lopputuloksesta tuli kuitenkin aika rauhallisen oloinen.

Here is a gate-fold-card with some roses. I made this for Mothers' Day (In Finland we celebrate Mothers' Day in May). The gorgeous rose stamp is from Favourite Flowers Collection by Joanna Sheen and I've coloured it with my ProMarkers and gave it a little sparkle with Stickles.

Keltaista ja Vihreää Pääsiäiseksi

Mukavaa alkanutta viikkoa kaikille, toivottavasti teillä on kiva viikko edessänne :) Viikoloppu olikin aika lämmin ja sateinen, joten vähän saatiin lumikasoja pienemmäksi. Jee! Kohta on jo kevät!

Ajattelin tänään tehdä pääsiäiskortin Stamparticin haasteeseen, jossa piti pääsiäiskortissa keltaisen lisäksi käyttää vai yhtä muuta väriä. Tässäpä minun korttini. En nyt kyllä ihan ole tyytyväinen tuohon kuvan väritykseen, kun vasta ensimmäistä kertaa ehdin tätä tipukuvaa (taitaa olla Elzybellsin leimasin) värittelemään, ja treenailin samalla värittämistä pelkästään Prismacolorsien kanssa, mutta päätin kuitenkin koota siitä kortin :)

It's Monday again :) I wish that you all have a great week ahead of you. Last weekend was so warm (yeah, few degrees above the zero (C)) and rainy that we finally got rid of some snow. No, not all, but some. Yey!

Today I decided to make a card to the Stampartic Challenge. Theme was to make Easter card and use color yellow and only one other colour in your creation. I am not that happy what comes to the colouring of the image - I practised with my Prismacolors ;) ... I wanted to use it anyway in a card. If I remember correctly the image is from Elzybells.

Mother's Love

Another post for the day already, wow. I have struggled with digi stamps, because my ProMarkers tend to smudge the ink too easily. I'd love to colour them too with ProMarkers because they really are one of my favourite mediums today... Meanwhile, trying to get to the bottom of my bleeding problem with ProMarkers, I took my Prismacolors and they are just perfect with Digis :) I believe I must have been way too keen on my ProMarkers!

This super cute and warm image I totally adore is digi from Prairie Fairy and it's called A Mother's Love. I just love the mood in this image. This is also my entry to Midnight Madness Challenge. They had this cute and very simple sketch this week, that was just perfect for this image. I made the frame around the image using dies, Distress Ink and then finally covering it all over with Diamond Dust. I just had to add a little colour to the card, so I added two glitter-covered butterflies.

Jo toinen posti tänään, wau :) Tässä kortissa käytin aivan hillittömän suloista digikuvaa A Mother's Love Prairie Fairyn valikoimista. Tämä on varmasti yksi ihanimmista kuvista ikinä. Kuvasta hehkuu mielestäni niin lämmin tunnelma - juuri se äidin rakkaus :) Värittelyt on Prismacoloreilla. Osallistun tällä Midnight Madnessin haasteeseen, jossa oli mielestäni juuri tähän kuvaan sopiva simppeli luonnos. Kehystin kuvan stansseilla leikatulla kehyksellä, jota värjäilin vähän Distress Inkillä. Lopuksi kuorrutin sen vielä Diamond Dustilla. Tahdoin kuitenkin vielä jonkun väripilkun korttiin, niin laitoin vielä pari perhosta kevään kunniaksi istumaan kehykselle.

An Easel Card for Mum

I tried to make my second easel card. This time for the mother's day. The image is from LOTV and I colored it with ProMarkers and Prismacolors. Her skirt and the paper covering the flowers are paper pierced to match the dp on the background. I'm so annoyed that the photos tend to be so dark, although there should be enough light.... My camera is probably just getting old :) Anyhow, the card is made to the sketch at Wild Orchid Challenge.

Yritin taas tehdä easel-kortin. Ehkä ne pikku hiljaa alkaa näyttä kivoiltakin, hihhii :) Tämä on tehty Wild Orchid- haasteen luonnoksen mukaan. Värittelin LOTV:n tytsyn ProMarkereilla ja Prismacoloreilla ja hame ja kukkakimpun kääre on paperipiercattu (apua, mikä tää tekniikka on suomeksi?! Näyttää kohtuullisen hölmöltä kirjoitettuna suomenkielen taivutuksien kanssa :)

Ärsyttää, kun kamera tykkää ottaa vaan tummemman laatuisia kuvia, vaikka valoa pitäisi olla ihan tarpeeksi.. Lienee menossa hajalle ressukka.

Enjoy The Moment

Today I wanted to make something that would remind me that the mighty Spring is just around the corner. Here is my card which I made to the sketch at CPS. Very simple card without many decorations. I colored this totally cute PB image with ProMarkers and Prismacolors. Then I added some sparkle to the flowers, added a pair of butterflies colored with Promarkers and Distress Ink and finally decorated them with some glitter.

Tänään teki mieli tehdä keväinen kortti. Tuli tehtyä suht' yksinkertainen kortti ilman mitään suurempia koristeluja. Tämä minun mielestäni aivan huippusuloinen PB:n leimakuva on väritelty Promarkereilla ja Prismacoloreilla. Vähän kimalletta laitoin kukan terälehtiin ja samalla glitterillä päällystin myös perhoset, kunhan ensin vähän värjäilin niitä Promarkereilla ja Distress Inkillä.

Thinking of You

Here is my card for today. I coloured this cute Kraftin' Kimmie hottie with ProMarkers and Prismacolors. I kept this rather simple because I thought the contrast between pink and black is quite enough :) Only some seam binding, couple of sparkling embellies and the 'Thinking of You'- text, and that's it.

En halunnut tähän hillitöntä määrä koristeluita, kun mielestäni tuo musta-pinkki- yhdistelmä on itsessään jo aika vahva. Ihan vaan vähän nauhaa, dimangeja ja teksti saivat tällä kertaa riittää.
