Leimailutaivaan Haaste-DT #4/2011 - Kirjarasia

Ihanaa alkanutta viikkoa kaikille! Tällä kertaa Leimailutaivaan haasteessa on aiheena kirjarasia. Tein omani käyttäen myös haasteen toista osiota eli luonnosta. Leimakuva on Sugar Nellien Boho Chic ja se on väritelty ProMarkereilla sekä Prismacoloreilla. Rasian saa suljettua nauhalla ja sen sisällä on tasku jossa on pieni tagi johon voi kirjoittaa saajalle onnitteluviestin.

It's the beginning of a new week again! Hopefully you'll all have a nice week ahead of you. Today is also the time for the new challenge over at the Leimailutaivas blog. The theme this time is to make a bookbox and/or use the given sketch on the project. I made my bookbox using also the sketch. The sweet image I used is from Sugar Nellie and called Boho Chic and it's colored with my ProMarkers and Prismacolors. Inside the box there is also a tag where you can write a message or a little poem for the birthday girl.

BookBox in Pink

Here is my book box made for the sketch at The Sugar Bowl this time. Image is from Sugar Nellie and she's colored with ProMarkers and Prismacolors. Flowers are from WOC and I love Roses. I also used some ribbon and lace and some other embellies like the rhinestones to give a bit shine. All the edges are distressed with Distress Ink.

Tässäpäs eilen tekemäni kirjarasia. Se on tehty tämänkertaiseen luonnokseen Sugar Bowlissa. Leimakuva on siis Sugar Nellien valikoimista ja värittelin sen ProMarkereilla ja Prismacoloreilla. Kukkaset on WOC:sta ja I love Rosesista. Käytin myös vähän pinkkiä nauhaa ja pitsiä sekä muutamia tekojalokiviä blingiä antamaan. reunat vanhensin Distress Inkillä.

Windswept Girl in Pink

This card is made to the Marlena's sketch at The Sugar Bowl this round. I just love this antique pink tone and it really must be one of my favourite colours. This gorgeous image is from Sugar Nellie and it's called Windswept (I believe it's discontinued though...). I wish I had her hair :). Papers are distressed and covered a bit from the edges with some Distress Ink, acrylic paint & Diamond Dust. Then I added loads of flowers and some other small decorations. Image it self is colored with ProMarkers and Prismacolor pencils.

Mukavaa lauantai-iltaa kaikille. Olipas tosi kaunis päivä tänään, mutta yhden kortin sain kuitenkin tehtyä. Tämä korttini on tehty The Sugar Bowlin haasteen luonnokseen. Ihana tyttönen on Sugar Nellien kokoelmista ja nimeltään Windswept (tämä taitaa kyllä olla lopetettu tuote). Luulin ensin, että hänellä olisi balettitossut jalassa, mutta nyt tajusinkin, että kyllä nuo taitavat olla ihan korkkarit :D. Paperit on ressattu sekä niiden reunat on koristeltu Distress Inkillä, akryylimaalilla ja Diamond Dustilla. Sitten lisäilin vain kukkia ym koristeita. Värittelyt on ProMarkereilla ja Prismacoloreilla.

Bingo! #4 ja Poitsun Uusi Potkulauta

Ihanaa sunnuntaiaamua ja kesäaikaa :) Onpas ihanaa kun aurinko paistaa jo heti aamusta! Tässä kortti tämänviikkoiseen Bingo! haasteeseen. Valitsin keskimmäisen pystyrivin: jokin ajopeli-hopea-stanssattu. Kuvan värittelin viime viikolla askartelutapaamisessa kokeillakseni ystäväni uusia chalk-värejä. Samalla lailla kuin pastellikynilläkin, värittely onnistui kevyesti ja vaivatta kun kynät antavat ihanan puuterimaisen lopputuloksen. Poikakortit ovat minulle vielä hieman suurempi kynnys tehdä. Suurimmaksi osaksi se varmaan johtuu siitä, että valtaosa papereista ja tarvikkeista joita omistan on aika selkeästi niiiiin tyttömäisiä ettei niitä voi käyttää poikien tai miesten kortteihin. Voinkin siis asettaa hyvin mielin tavoitteeksi hankkia hieman poikamaisempia tarpeita... Olisi tosi kiva tehdä välillä enemmänkin kortteja pojille ja miehille. Leimasin on Sugar Nellien Oliver's new wheel ja aika ihana minun mielestäni :)

Sunny Sunday to you all! Here is my card to the Bingo! Challenge this week. I chose the middle vertical line: any transportation vehicle-silver-use a die. I coloured this cute Sugar Nellie's Oliver's new wheel image last week as I wanted to test my friend's new chalkpencils. I find the cards for boys and men so much challenging than the ones for girls. It may only be because I own only few embellishment, backing papers and other craft supplies for boys!  :) Well I think I'll just set my self a target to get some goodies for the masculine cards too.... ;)

Bingo!-haaste #1

Onpas kiva, kun tämä uusi suomalainen haasteblogi aloitti tällä viikolla :) Tällä kortilla osallistuisin siis tähän ihan ensimmäiseen Bingo!-haasteeseen. Nimensä mukaisesti siis haasteessa pelataan bingoa ja minä valikoin vinorivin: kukka-pinkki-3D. 3D:nähän sopi käyttää myös kohotettuja kerroksia ja noh, pinkkiä ja kukkaa tuossa luulisi olevan aika kivasti! Värittelyt on ProMarkereilla. Oikein paljon onnea uudelle haasteblogille!

A new Finnish Challenge-blog called: Bingo! was launched this week. The theme is, surprise - surprise, bingo :) It is open for everybody, although at the moment it is only published in Finnish. This is my card to the very first Bingo!Challenge and I chose the line flower-pink-3D. Colouring is with my beloved ProMarkers.

Here is my creation for the day. As on the Fussy and Fancy Challenge had a theme to make a gift and matching card to celebrate their first birthday, I wanted to make a gift box with a card. Sweet fairy stamp is Make a Wish from Sugar Nellie and I've colored the images with ProMarkers. On Cute Card Thursday this week the challenge was to make a card using stuff from your old stash. Well I have used some older digipaper and flowers. Also the board is made with MS punch which I have owned for a while now and it is actually the first Martha punch I have purchased.

Here my card made with help from Cute Card Thursday Challenge sketch this week. I made a blue card for Christmas with image called Angel Wishes from Sugar Nellie. I would also like to enter this card to Passion for ProMarkers Challenge. The theme at PfP was Old & New i.e. a brand new stamp with old papers etc. The angel image is new for me, but all the other stuff I used is old from my stash. Oh, by the way, they are also having a blog hop at Passion for ProMarkers so go ahead and hop over to see all those gorgeous cards from the DTs!
