LOTV Fairy Girl

Here is my card for today. Image is quite new from Lili of The Valley and is colored with Promarkers. She's just so adorable! I added some glitz and sparkle to the flowers and on the fairy's dress and wings with Stickles.

Tässä tänään tehty kortti. Kuva on suht' uusi Lili of The Valleylta ja on väritetty Promarkereilla. Lopuksi lisäilin vähän Sticklesillä kimalletta kukkiin sekä keijukaisen mekkoon ja siipiin. Tuo käyttämäni taustapaperi on kyllä mielestäni tosi nättiä ja varmasti yksi lemppareista.

I am Dreaming of Spring...

Yes, I would not mind if the mother nature decided to warm the weather up in the near future.Well, at least this week there's no hope, I've heard.

I wanted to make a card with bright colours just to make me feel like it's spring already ;) This card is made to the sketch at Midnight Madness Challenge this week. Thanks for the nice sketch! I colored the cute Woodland Folk animals (from DoCrafts) with Promarkers. The hedgehog is just so cute, isn't he?

Joskohan kohta kevätaurinko alkaisi kohta lämmittämään niin, että pakkasmittari alkaisi nousemaan pikkuhiljaa...? Nooh, yritin saada itselleni kevätfiilistä tekemällä tällä kertaa vihreän sävyisen ja keväisen tuntuisen kortin. Lili Of The Valley Challenge #84 Sketch by Dawny

Here is my first easel card ever. They look really nice and I wanted to try to make one too. This one is made to the sketch at Lili of The Valley Challenge this week. The stamp is quite new and from LOTV and it's coloured with Promarkers.

Tässäpä ensimmäinen easel -kortti (eipäs välähdä tällä hetkellä, että mikäs se suomenkielinen nimi sitten olikaan...). Aikaa meni kyllä ihan kivasti tätä näpertäessä! Ehkä seuraava menee jo nopeammin. Tein tämän kortin Lili of The Valleyn haasteen luonnoksen mukaan. Oli muuten tietty myös pieni haaste saada luonnos tällaiseen korttiin kauniisti änkättyä :) Kuvana on aivan ihana leimakuva LOTV valikoimista.

Something Blue

Well, I have been making soooo many pink and red cards and I thought that I really should change the colour scheme a bit. At least for a while. So here's something blue :) This is actually made for a person who's favourite colour is blue and I just could not choose any other colour for this card. Colouring is with Promarkers.

For a Friend

It is Monday again. Where did the weekend go! Here is a Valentine's card for today. I decided to use this large and sweet sentiment stamp. It has a small poem in Finnish about friendship, and I think its so beautiful. I chose to decorate the card with some small butterflies, because the poem is about friendship and a butterfly.

Kylläpäs viikonloppu taas hurahti ihan ettei huomannutkaan! Tässäpäs yksi ystävänpäiväkortti. Päätin käyttää tätä kaunista ystävyydestä kertovaa runoa ja koota kortin sen ympärille. Runon sanoman ja sisällön mukaan piti kortti myös koristella tietty pikkuperhosilla.

Spreading Love

Here is my card for today. For this image I tried Prismacolour pencils just as they are. They do give a nice oldie look for the image, but I still find coloring with OMS better although I don't really enjoy the smell. Anyway these do blend together easily. Tilda is from Magnolia's latest collection You Are So Special.

Tässä tälle päivälle tuotos. Tilda on Magnolian viimeisimpiä kokoelmasta You Are So Special. Värittelyt on Prismacolors kynillä, joilla sai aikaan ihan kivan, vähän vanhanaikaisemman tunnelman. 

Vielä pari päivää Leimailutaivaaseen... Täpinää! Onhan tulevaa lauantaitakin jo odotettukin, eikö?

Magnoliahaaste #41 - Feikkiompeleita

Magnoliahaasteessa oli tällä viikolla aiheena feikkiompeleet. Alla korttini haasteeseen ystävänpäiväteemalla, vaikka kyllähän tämä kävisi ihan tavallisenakin onnittelukorttina :) Värittelyt on Promarkereilla. Tykkään tuosta hauskasta sydämen mallisesta hattuneulasta kovasti. Tildan vaatteiden röyhelöt saivat hieman Sticklesiä ja paketin lahjapaperi Glossy Accentia.

Finnish Magnolia Challenge had a theme to make a project with fake stitches on it. First card with Valentine's theme for the year, too. Tilda is colored with Promarkers. I also wanted to add some sparkle on Tilda's ruffles with Stickles and some shine to the gift wrapping with Glossy Accent.

Mermaid's Swim

Happy Monday to you all. I hope you'll have a very nice week ahead of you! Today I made this mermaid card using my Sweet November stamp Ocean Wavedancer. To me she's just so cute and magical and well, I've always fancied mermaids. Anyway I think she just looks like she's enjoying her swim and it makes me smile too! I colored her with my Promarkers and added some bling here and there.

Pink Fairy

Here is a card I made to the sketch at LOTV challenges this week. I used this beautiful new fairy stamp Garden of Wishes from their collection and colored it with Promarkers. I tried to make her look even more magical by adding some glitter to her wings.

Tässä kortti tämän kertaiseen LOTV haasteen luonnokseen. Käytin LOTV:n uutta kaunista keijukaisleimasinta Garden of Wishes jonka värittelin Promarkereilla. Siipiin lisäilin glitteriä ja mekon helmaan vähän Sticklesiä. Kyllähän nyt keijukaisen pitää vähän kimallella ;)

P*skarteluhaaste #73 - Pyöreitä Muotoja

Mukavaa lauantai-iltaa kaikille. P*skiksessa piti tällä viikolla tehdä kortti jossa on pyöräitä muotoja. Alla tähän teemaan sopiva kortti ystävälle. Leimakuva on Motivetin söpö Bunny Hug. Värityksen tein Distress Inkeillä ja lopuksi lisäsin vähän varjostuksia kuivapastelleilla. Mielestäni ihan hyvä tulos ottaen huomioon, että tämä oli ihan ensimmäinen kerta kun värittelin leimakuvaa Distresseillä :D

Finnish P*skarteluhaaste challenge had a theme to make a card with round shapes. I used this cute stamp called Bunny Hug from Motivet and colored it with Distress Inks and also with dry pastels to give some more depth for the shadows. By the way, this was my very first time ever to use Distress Inks for coloring.
